This past Saturday was the end of 2011’s wedding season for Quincy Adam Photography, and what an awesome way it was to end it.
I had just returned from a photography conference out in Memphis a day earlier, and I was charged up to document Jacqui and Pat’s special day.
I had met Jacqueline and her mom about a year ago, and there was so much excitement in our conversation, that I was immediately psyched about working this wedding. It was a lot of build up for being a year away, but it was all worth it!
The service was held at Saint Louis Church in Yeadon, PA. Following the service, we traveled back to a local hangout (The Trophy) in Drexel Hill for some photos (see below). The reception was held at the Hotel Dupont in Wilmington, Delaware. This place is amazing. The architecture is astounding and there are so many locations of this hotel that are fun to shoot in. I was excited working with the bridal party, because (1) there was an over abundance of beautiful people in it and (2) the Hotel Dupont is just an awesome location.
When the reception started, I have never seen so many people crowd the dance floor and not leave until the reception ended. The entertainment was DJ Jay Roy, and he did a wonderful job at keeping everyone out there the entire time. It was fun shooting everyone in action and I know both Kelly and I had a tremendous amount of fun documenting it.
Congratulations to Jacqui and Pat. We had so much fun with you, your family and your bridal party. We wish you the very best in your marriage.
